Rotary Launches High School Competition about Principles - talk

Rotary requires members to conduct themselves personally and professionally according to its Four-Way Test of the things Rotarians think, say and do: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? For the second year, the Rotary Club of San Miguel de Allende – Midday is hosting a high school competition with Prepatoria Pipila to provide stories of how its students live the Four-Way Test.

Students of the English class will write essays that will be juried, with three winners chosen and their stories read at Rotary meeting February 13 at 12:30pm in Hotel Mission, Salida a Celaya 1. Come to Rotary where the meeting will be free and in English to hear these outstanding essays. It will give you pride in our community and hope for the future.

Former Rotary President Nate Fultz is the chairman for this project. He is a retired teacher who taught in the public schools on the border of Texas and Mexico.

Rotary is where neighbors, friends and problem-solvers share ideas, join leaders and take action to create lasting change. For more information, contact President Fred Collins at presidentmidday@berkleyline.com.
