Lindsay Duval is an American ceramic artist who has lived in San Miguel de Allende since 2016 after having resided in Rio de Janeiro for over 30 years. Lindsay’s sculptures favor a contemporary aesthetic. Her pieces interpret this ancient art form with a modern motif. Her timeless objects are abstract figurative that are highly instinctual.
Her current work is inspired by the isolation of the corona virus and the imaginary Mexican-inspired demons that are both visually and intellectually intriguing.
