What? Playback Theatre is an original form of improvisational theatre in which audience or group members share true stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot. It is a powerful vehicle for community building and for building empathy

No experience necessary- just a willingness to have fun, practice deep listening, play together, and create a sharing community with classmates.

* TBD: Given sufficient interest and availability among participants, this workshop has the option of being extended into other Saturdays in March in order to learn more in depth skills and have more practice.

Playback Theatre is used throughout the world ( 60 countries)in a broad range of settings— in essence, anywhere the human story wants to be shared.
e.g, prisons; hospices; at conferences, in classrooms; with refugees and immigrants; in disaster recovery; for birthdays, weddings, memorials, and in living rooms with friends.
